Below, I have listed the learning objectives for this course and how they connect to the learning materials and assessments.
Learning Objectives
Objective #1:
Students will be able to analyze the history and background of Cedar Falls and begin to identify resources they will utilize within the community.
Course Connection?
Analytic lessons such as a Reading Assignment and Video Presentation will provide information on Cedar Falls resources local to the area.
Objective #2:
Students will apply what they have learned about Cedar Falls directly to their own lives by making action plans on engaging in the community and fostering connections with other students in the area.
Course Connection?
Interactive activities and reflective assessments, such as practice problems, a map tour, a reflection journal, and a virtual discussion will nurture discussion amongst classmates and aid future planning.
